Orange Cream Eggnog Liqueur

The classic Easter treat, elevated with orange juice 🍊. A delicious fruity and creamy delight that's also perfect as a DIY gift idea 💝.
As a bring-along for brunch, the drink is delicious on its own or as a sauce for cake and ice cream 🍨 🤤

Ingredients:
1 packet vanilla sugar
6 egg yolks
250 g powdered sugar
400 g cream
4 oranges
150 g vodka
40 g Cointreau or Triple Sec

👨🏻‍🍳Recipe:
Squeeze 4 oranges (running counterclockwise for fewer pulp pieces). Separate 6 eggs.
Add 1 packet vanilla sugar, 6 egg yolks, sugar and 400 g cream and heat for 12 minutes / 70 °C / speed 1.

Let cool to 40 °C, add 150 g vodka and 40 g Cointreau / Triple Sec and mix for 15 seconds / speed 4.

Pour through a fine sieve into bottles that have been sterilized with boiling water and let cool. Then store in the refrigerator and shake before use!

The unused egg whites can be used to make delicious meringue clouds, for example.
