The tailgate stand locks itself into place as soon as the tailgate is pushed up. This means you have all your hands free and can leave the flap open safely and without accidents. To close the tailgate, the stand only needs to be lifted briefly. This means that the cylinder of the gas pressure spring can retract again without any problems.

It is compatible with the Mercedes V-Class, Vito and especially the Marco Polo models . But be careful, people: not every model has the same gas struts. Therefore, before purchasing, you should measure the length of the thin shock tube (should be at least 265 mm) and the diameter of the thick shock tube (should be a maximum of 32 mm). This way you can ensure that our tailgate display fits your van perfectly.

And here's another tip: Our tailgate stand is only suitable for gas springs WITHOUT a protective cover!
