The sieve is locked during use like the conventional lid of the Monsieur Cuisine Smart. All openings are so small that it is impossible to reach into the blade. Does the juice press damage my device or the scale? Absolutely not! We have precisely matched the orange press to the Monsieur Cuisine Smart and subjected it to endurance tests. The scale is not overloaded during juicing. Any moving around, placing or dough stirring puts more strain on the scale than your hand strength when pressing. Please note the following: The speed of the Monsieur Cuisine Smart must be set to level 2.5. Only this way does the motor provide enough speed and power for juicing.
