How safe is the juicer?

The strainer is locked during use just like the conventional lid of the MCS. All openings are so small that reaching into the blade becomes impossible.

Will the juicer damage my device or the scale?

Absolutely not! We have precisely tailored the orange juicer to the Monsieur Cuisine Smart and subjected it to continuous testing. The scale is not overloaded during juicing. Any pushing around, setting down, or kneading dough puts more strain on the scale than the force of your hand while pressing.

Please note the following instructions:

The speed of your Monsieur Cuisine Smart must be set to level 2.5. This is the only way the motor delivers enough speed and power for juicing.

The pressing cones fit snugly against the strainer – rattling or scratching noises may occur in order to produce the perfect pulp content. This is not a defect!

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices that contain batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
 
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.
 
You can either return used batteries that we carry or have carried in our range as new batteries to us at your own expense, or return them free of charge to our dispatch warehouse (shipping address). Alternatively, you can drop off the batteries at local collection points.
 
As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries so that they can be reconditioned or properly disposed of.
 
Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled.
 
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
 
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
 
For batteries containing a certain amount of lead, cadmium or mercury, the additions shown below the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicate the respective harmful substances:
 
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium
