What can the Thermo-Plug do?
The ThermoPlug takes the place of the knife in the mixing bowl, preventing unwanted chopping of pasta, potatoes, vegetables or sausages, for example, and giving you more space for your food.
When sous-vide cooking steaks, duck breast, asparagus & co., vacuum bags have more space and are guaranteed to remain undamaged. No cover is needed to protect the bags from the knife. And instead of two steaks, you can now gently cook four at low temperature, for example.
It's that simple: remove the knife, insert the Thermo-Plug and then you're ready to go! A stew where the various ingredients are still in one piece. One-pot pasta that still looks like pasta after cooking. And because there's more space in the mixing bowl, you can prepare larger portions – for example for four very, very hungry mouths or six normal eaters!
Of course, because the knife is not in the mixing bowl, it doesn't stir. But that's what the Thermomix has a great spatula for. Pop it in quickly now and then to stir soup, stew or one-pot pasta – and everything works!
