What can the Thermo Plug do?
The ThermoPlug takes the place of the knife in the mixing bowl, preventing unwanted chopping of items such as pasta, potatoes, vegetables or sausages, and giving you more space for your food.
When sous vide cooking steaks, duck breast, asparagus & co., the vacuum bags have more space and are guaranteed to stay undamaged. No cover is needed to protect the bags from the knife. And instead of two steaks, for example, four can be gently cooked at low temperature.
It's so simple: remove the knife, insert the Thermo Plug and you're ready to go! A stew where the different ingredients remain intact. One-pot pasta that still looks like pasta after cooking. And because there's more space in the mixing bowl, you can prepare larger portions – for example, for four very hungry mouths or six normal eaters!
Of course, because the knife isn't in the mixing bowl, nothing gets stirred. But that's what the Thermomix has a great spatula for. Use it quickly to stir soup, stew or one-pot pasta from time to time – and everything works!
