B2B & Dropshipping – How Ordering Works

040 Parts & Mixcover GmbH supplies products from the brands 040 parts, mixcover, and moin minis exclusively to commercial retailers (B2B). Orders are placed using Excel templates, which should be completed and sent via email to sales@mixcover.de.

There are two ordering methods: B2B warehouse ordering (standard delivery to your warehouse) and Dropshipping (direct shipment to your end customer).

01 B2B Warehouse Ordering – Step by Step

Standard B2B ordering for your own warehouse. Delivery to your business address.

  1. 1 Request template – You will receive the Excel template B2B_Order_Form_Template.xlsx from your contact at Mixcover. The file includes space for up to 50 line items plus an instructions page.
  2. 2 Enter your customer number Required field – Enter your customer number in the designated field. Your company, billing and delivery address, and payment method will be populated automatically.
  3. 3 Enter your reference number Required field – Enter your internal order number (e.g. ORD-2025-001). This allows you to match the order later.
  4. 4 Enter articles – Enter the article number (SKU) or EAN along with the desired quantity. At least SKU or EAN must be filled in. Find current SKUs and EANs on the price list. Maximum 50 line items per file.
  5. 5 Confirm T&Cs Required field – Select "YES" from the dropdown in the T&Cs field at the end of the template. Without confirmation, the order will not be processed.
  6. 6 Submit file – Send the completed .xlsx file via email to sales@mixcover.de. Please use the original template and do not use other file formats.
  7. 7 Order confirmation – You will receive an order confirmation via email. If there are errors or missing information, you will be notified separately.
Payment method Your payment method (prepayment, invoice) is stored in your customer data – no manual entry required. If you have any questions, please contact sales@mixcover.de.

02 Dropshipping – Direct Shipment to Your End Customer

Mixcover packages and ships directly to your end customer – in your name. You remain the sole contracting partner of your customer. One file can contain up to 5 orders simultaneously (up to 10 items per order).

Choose your shipping method:

Option A
Label via Email – You arrange shipping

You arrange shipping with a parcel service of your choice and send the shipping label via email to pickpack1@mixcover.de. Mixcover applies the label to the packed parcel.

Recipient: always end customer.
Required fields: Order number, first and last name of end customer.
Shipping cost: 0.00 EUR.

Option B
Mixcover ships directly

Mixcover handles the entire shipment directly to your end customer via DHL, DPD, DHL Express, or Deutsche Post. Shipping costs are calculated based on delivery zone and invoiced to you.

Required fields: All address fields must be completely filled out – especially the country (required for shipping cost calculation).

Step by Step:

  1. 1 Request template – You will receive the Excel template Dropshipping_Order_Form_Template.xlsx from your contact. It contains 5 order blocks with up to 10 line items each.
  2. 2 Enter your customer number Required field – Enter your customer number once at the top of the template. It applies to all order blocks in the file.
  3. 3 Per order block: Your reference number Required field – Enter your internal order number for this end customer (e.g. DS-2025-001).
  4. 4 Choose shipping method – Leave the delivery address blank (Option A, you provide the label – first and last name of end customer required) or fill in completely with end customer address (Option B, Mixcover ships – all fields including country required). Can be chosen individually per order block.
  5. 5 Enter articles – Enter SKU and/or EAN plus quantity. At least SKU or EAN must be provided. Find current SKUs and EANs on the price list. Maximum 10 line items per order block.
  6. 6 Confirm dropshipping agreement Required field – Select "YES" from the dropdown in the confirmation field at the end of the template. Without confirmation, the order will not be processed.
  7. 7 Submit file – Send the completed .xlsx file via email to sales@mixcover.de. Each completed order block will be processed as a separate order with its own order number.
  8. 8 Option A: Send label – If you chose Option A, send the shipping label with the order reference in the subject line to pickpack1@mixcover.de.

04 Important Information

Topic Information
File format Only .xlsx – no .xls, .csv or other formats. Please use only the original template.
T&Cs required field Without "YES" in the confirmation field at the end of the template, the order will not be processed.
SKU / EAN At least one of the two must be entered. Find current SKUs and EANs on the price list.
Customer number You will receive your customer number from your contact at Mixcover. Without a valid customer number, the order cannot be processed.
Delivery areas We ship standard to EU countries. For deliveries outside the EU, please contact us in advance at sales@mixcover.de.
Dropshipping: Country For Option B, the delivery country must be entered – it determines the shipping costs and available shipping providers.
